Our case study here follows a 56- year old gentleman who battled chronic back pain. After a successful 30 year career, this individual was left with severe low back pain. A sneeze, lifting a pen from the floor, just about anything would cause a back pain that would last for days.
Similar to other clientele, this individual had tried a number of personal trainers in the past, each too afraid to address the root cause of the back pain, weakness. Before we could implement a true strength program we addressed proper movement patterns to ensure there would be no further damage.
Throughout the program this individual completed movements that he had never tried in the past due to fear. Not only is he on his way to mastering each of them, he has also gained a great deal of strength. He continues to push himself towards greater health because of his current and future grandchildren.
