OUR STORY

Our story, much like many others, was not necessarily what our founder, Andrew, had originally imagined. Following graduation from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology Andrew planned a move to south Florida to be closer to his family, who had transplanted from northeast Ohio. Prior to the move Andrew knew there would be vast opportunity to work with some of the nations best high school athletes, in which they would utilize Andrew’s expertise in the strength and conditioning world to elevate their game to the next level.

After spending some time in south Florida Andrew noticed a particular cohort that was being neglected, the aging individual who had been “written off” by healthcare professionals because they didn’t meet the standards set forth by Medicare.

Although this is not what Andrew had in mind upon moving to the sunshine state, he knew he could make an impact and do so on a large scale.

After spending time working with various providers in town it was time for a change. While completing his graduate degree in Gerontology from the University of Southern California, Andrew wanted to go about this in his way and followed his father’s entrepreneurial spirit and opened LiveWell Health in March of 2018.

They were either too functionally independent to receive maintenance care or a chronic illness disrupted typical Medicare benefits.

Our mission is to empower individuals to live a happier, healthier life. We understand that many individuals have various backgrounds and health statuses, but that should not prevent one from progressing forward. Whether one is looking to live out their retirement dreams or if one is in need of assistance after a diagnosis of a chronic condition, we can help.

History shows that physical and occupational therapy have been the only options for functional support when it comes to aging individuals. Through our effective and systematic methods we plan on altering the norms when it comes to healthcare among the aging population. Both progressive and maintenance exercise are vital when aging successfully.

VO  Max

VO₂ max, or maximal oxygen consumption, is the gold standard for measuring your cardiovascular fitness and endurance. It represents the maximum amount of oxygen your body can utilize during intense exercise. This metric gives a clear picture of how efficiently your heart, lungs, and muscles work together to perform at their peak.

RMR & Biological Age

A Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) test measures the number of calories your body burns at rest to maintain basic functions like breathing, circulation, and digestion. This is the baseline energy your body requires to keep you alive and functioning when you’re not active.
